“I do not understand why the world must follow Israel. The world has the power, but they choose to obey Israel.” ~ Prime Minister of Malaysia Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad

By Catherine Austin Fitts

The Saker spent many years as a professional military analyst and has lived, studied, and worked in both the United States and Europe. For more than a decade he has written and corresponded with analysts and citizens around the world from his website The Vineyard of the Saker. He has published two of the most insightful books available on the geopolitics of the emerging multipolar world: The Essential Saker and The Essential Saker II.

The Saker joins me this week on The Solari Report to talk about the dramatic developments in the Middle East. The tensions grow between Iran and the U.S.—with allies Israel and Saudi Arabia—as Israel seeks to establish itself as the Middle Eastern hegemon and use that position to assert dominance in technology and ventures for its companies and investors along the Silk Road.

Our topic is simple: Will the United States go to war with Iran? Can such a war be won, or is it a suicide mission for the Empire? Is this the end of the unipolar world? Why has Israel lobbied so intensely for such a war? And why would President Trump renege on his campaign promises to decrease the U.S. troop commitment to the Middle East?

What happened to the words from President Trump’s inaugural address, “We will seek friendship and goodwill with the nations of the world—but we do so with the understanding that it is the right of all nations to put their own interests first. We do not seek to impose our way of life on anyone, but rather to let it shine as an example for everyone to follow.”

Why are the Neocons back in the White House? Was the foreign campaign interference that we should have worried about in 2016 actually Israel and its financial backers? Are dual citizens in the American Congress going to send American soldiers to die in the Middle East to line their pockets? Why is General Kelly saying it is time to send “Javanka” home?

What does the flow of Iranian oil mean to the petrodollar? And are we back on the “seven countries in five years” plan?

This week on Let’s Go to the Movies, check out the documentary The China Hustle. This documentary helps describe one aspect of the economic warfare involved in our capital flows and trade with China. As the documentary maker says, this is a story with no good guys. The tensions with Iran are a direct result of the rise of China and the power and importance of exploding growth in trade between Europe and Asia through Eurasia.
