The Value Club – November/December 2023

When I was a child, we lived in a Communist country, but we (my family) were not under Communist rule. I went to the American School there, together with children of different nationalities whose parents preferred them to be educated American-style. The school was not big, but it had a small library and American textbooks; our teachers came from different countries as well–Britain, Poland, America, France–but they all spoke English and were really good at teaching.
