Not too long ago I ran into a neighbor outside who told me she had just completed a pilot for a television show. I had heard about this pilot several months ago. She said she had to submit it herself because the person she was collaborating with had died. I asked, “From what?” She answered I don’t know–he just died. It seemed he wasn’t old and he wasn’t sick: he simply died. She shrugged and changed the subject. That was my first experience with Died Suddenly and Cause Unknown.
